A symbol of faith and warrior strength, worn by the Knights of the Temple in the 13th century. This Templar cross pendant is carved from solid Olive wood, a Mediterranean wood, uneven and alive, and every piece is entirely handworked, which makes it one of a kind. At the center I laser engrave the Sigillum Militum Xpisti, the Latin seal of the Templar Grand Masters in the form adopted by Renaud de Vichiers in the 13th century, then finish it with natural vegetable oil, which brings out the grain of the olive wood and protects it over time. Instead of a plain bail I've added a ball-end, the terminal from a bass string, a detail that comes from my world as a luthier, hung on an adjustable paracord cord. The size is roughly 43 x 31 mm. It's a piece for anyone drawn to the medieval period, heraldry, or Templar symbolism.
