Seven Archangels Seal Pendant - Walnut Wood

The Seven Archangels Seal is rooted in the medieval and Renaissance hermetic tradition, codified in texts such as the Arbatel de Magia Veterum (1575). The system is built on a precise correspondence between seven archangels, seven classical planets, and seven Olympic spirits: Michael rules the Sun, Gabriel the Moon, Raphael Mercury, Haniel Venus, Samael Mars, Tzadriel Jupiter, Tzafquiel Saturn. The seal unites in a single circular figure the archangels' names on the outer ring, the planetary symbols and sigils of the Olympic spirits (Aratron, Bethor, Och, Phalegh, Ophiel, Phul, Hagith) in the intermediate sections, and the central sigil as the convergence point of all influences. This is not decorative invention — every element occupies a precise position, determined by centuries of tradition.

The heptagonal shape is deliberate — seven sides for seven archangels, seven planets, seven spirits. For this pendant I chose luthier-grade walnut, the same wood used for musical instruments: a raw material selected for the quality of its grain, dense and compact, with warm tones ranging from hazel to golden brown. The laser engraving renders every detail of the seal with the precision this subject demands — the names, the planetary symbols, the spirits' sigils, the central mark. The surface is finished with vegetable oil, which protects the wood and enhances its natural colour without altering it.

The fitting follows the Dogstar philosophy: no through-hole, but a guitar string ball-end, the workshop's signature that brings a component from the world of music into the jewel, reinterpreted as a design element. The cord is an adjustable paracord, durable and contemporary. Every pendant is delivered in the Dogstar Wood Lab FSC-certified box.
